Grief Support

Simply defined, grief is the normal and natural reaction to significant emotional loss of any kind.  While we never compare losses, any list would include death as an obvious painful loss.

The ranges of emotions associated with grief are as varied as there are people and personalities.  There is no list of feelings that would adequately describe one persons emotions, much less an entire society.

Grief is individual and unique.  As every relationship is unique, so are the feelings and thoughts each person will have about the relationship that has been altered by death.

Our Grief Recovery Outreach Program creates the safety and the correct action choices that help people move beyond the pain caused by loss.  This is a 12-week program that focuses on creating a safe environment in which one can deal effectively with loss and how to take new actions which lead to the completion of the pain attached to a recent loss.

We also offer assistance in the following areas:

  • Filing for Social Security Benefits, Veterans Benefits, Insurance Claims and Death Certificates
  • Closing Bank Accounts
  • Counseling Referrals
  • Legal Referrals
  • Grief Recovery Seminar

Like a bird
Singing in the rain,
Let grateful memories
Survive in time of sorrow.
