Bobbie Jean Swim

Bobbie Jean Swim was born April 6, 1938, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, to Everett Rossen and Ivan Jaunita Robertson Pavey. She died Wednesday, November 3, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 83 years. Bobbie completed her secondary education in Owasso, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1956 and was a standout basketball player with the Owasso Ramettes. She was married June 29, 1956, in South Gate, California, to John Dean Swim. Bobbie had worked as a bookkeeper for the Farmers Co-Op, Evans Ready-Mix, and RCB Bank in Collinsville. She was a strong woman of faith and had been a member of the Collinsville Baptist Tabernacle since 1958. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including playing the piano and watching basketball. She especially loved her grandchildren who affectionately knew her as “Gramma”. Those she leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include: Her husband of over 65 years; Dean, of the home Son; Mark Dean Swim and his wife Sha, of Collinsville, Oklahoma Grandchildren; Christina Swim Beaver and husband Crispin, of Seneca, Missouri Britney Rodrock, of Owasso, Oklahoma Mathew Rodrock, of Collinsville, Oklahoma Anthony Rodrock, of Collinsville, Oklahoma Great grandchildren; Covan and Vivian Beaver She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Juanita Pavey, sisters, Patty Shadrick and Rena Darlene Pavey, and brother, Billy Dean Pavey. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2021, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Ray officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Brad Cantrell, Lance Williamson, Matthew Rodrock, Jason Carey, Wes Fjeldsted, Matthew Boyd and Anthony Rodrock. Committal service and interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Susan G.
