Coeta Colleen Wells

Coeta Colleen Wells was born October 8, 1934, in Freedom, Oklahoma, to Floyd Daniel and Addie Pearl Bonner Morland. She died Sunday, December 6, 2020, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 86 years. Coeta was reared and educated in Freedom, Oklahoma, and was a graduate of Freedom High School. She was married October 2, 1953, in Alva, Oklahoma, to Joe Dean Wells. They had made their home in Owasso since 1977. Coeta spent most of her working life as a homemaker and caring for her family. She had been a faithful member of First Christian Church in Owasso, then most recently attended Church On The Move in Tulsa. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including gardening, working with crafts, and especially shopping. She liked spending time at the lake and taking trips traveling. Most importantly was spending time and visiting with family. She was extremely fond of her role as “Mimi”. Those she leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include: Her children; Gordon Wells and wife Stephanie, of Collinsville, Oklahoma Jonette Lucas and husband Randy, of Amarillo, Texas Sheri Wells and partner Tricia Gregory, of Owasso, Oklahoma Grandchildren; Sawyer Wells, of Tulsa, Oklahoma Addie Tatro and husband Trevor, of Tulsa, Oklahoma Lindsay Edwards and husband Kyle, of Amarillo, Texas Jansen Lucas and wife Taylor, of Amarillo, Texas Great grandchildren; Cameron Edwards, Kensington Edwards, Jansen Lucas, Jr., And soon to be joining the family, Wynston Wells Tatro Brother; Floyd Daniel Morland, Jr., and wife Cindy, of Kingman, Arizona She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe D. Wells, and grandchildren, Dylan Wells, Chere Wells, and Skylar Lucas. Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, December 11,2020, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Minister William Dritter officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Cameron Edwards, Wynston Tatro, Kyle Edwards, Jansen Lucas, Sawyer Wells, Trevor Tatro, Kensington Edwards, and Jansen Lucas, Jr. Committal service and interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso.
