Dennis Lloyd DuBois

Dennis Lloyd DuBois was born February 22, 1938, in Newark, New Jersey, to Julia DuBois. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 7, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 88 years. Dennis completed his education at Philadelphia Bible College with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Bible in May 1995. He was devoted to his family throughout his life. He was first married to Ruth, with whom he shared children. Following that marriage, he was married to Stephine. In later years, he and Ruth found their way back to one another, remarried, and were blessed to spend the remainder of his life together. Dennis held many positions in his professional career in leadership roles of business development strategies and entrepreneurship. He retired from Anheuser Busch after many years of service as a Human Resources professional. He was an inaugural member and former secretary for the North Tulsa Economic Development Initiative. He played a foundational role in their development, supporting organizational governance, community-driven strategy, and economic initiatives for North Tulsa. Dennis served as the City of Tulsa Human Rights Commissioner, contributing to policy review, community advocacy, and civil rights protections for Tulsa residents, supporting equitable practices and community engagement across the city. Dennis worked with the Greenwood Business Resource Center where he delivered business financial entrepreneur training for approximately five years, equipping small business owners and emerging entrepreneurs with financial literacy, business planning skills, and operational readiness to strengthen Tulsa/Greenwood’s business ecosystem. He worked with the Character Enrichment Community Youth Program through Oklahoma State University, supporting youth development, academic enrichment, and character-building initiatives. He contributed to program coordination, student engagement, and community-based learning experiences that strengthened positive outcomes for participating youth. Since 2017, Dennis was the office manager for Pine Premier Child Care, Inc., providing comprehensive operational leadership, overseeing daily site management, staff coordination, and high-quality learning environments for all students. Dennis was a man of deep and abiding faith who dearly loved the Lord. After arriving in Tulsa, he worshipped for many years at Victory Christian Center and remained active in the body of Christ wherever the Lord led him. His faith also inspired him to participate in several short-term missionary trips to Russia, Haiti, Africa, and South America. In his later years, he became a faithful member of Tulsa Bible Church, where he continued to grow in his walk with the Lord and worship alongside his church family. Dennis was a fervent student of the Bible, even leading home Bible studies on the books of Ruth, Daniel, and Revelation. Those he leaves behind who hold a lifetime of cherished memories include: Wife: Ruth Children: Dennis Arthur, Darlene, David, Dorene, Keren, Daniel, Dave F. and Jennifer and a host of spiritual children Grandchildren: Dennis Antione and Erica, Derek and Ashley, Dana, Dominique, Asia Zoe, Tirzah, Kelaiah, Wesley, Josiah, Madison, Sarah and a host of spiritual grandchildren Great grandchildren: Daylyn, Deon, Mason, Devin, Ava, Baylor, Greyson, Azura, Rhayne, and Xzavier Siblings: Robert, John M., and John L. He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia DuBois, parents-in-law, Arthur and Ruth Jones, and a host of brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Tulsa Bible Church with Pastor Jared Verwiel officiating. Casket will be open for viewing one hour prior to service time. Committal service and interment will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
