Donald Homer Webb

'Donald Homer Webb was born December 13, 1933, in Orlando, Oklahoma, to Homer and Gladys Webb. He died Tuesday, December 6, 2016, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 82 years. Don was reared and educated in Orlando, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Orlando High School Class of 1951. He was a veteran of the armed forces having served his country honorably with the United States Army. He was married June 26, 1955, in Wichita, Kansas, to Kenna June Kephart. They moved to Tulsa in 1955 when Don accepted a job with American Airlines where he worked for 29 years as an avionics engineer. He and Kenna made their home in Owasso, Oklahoma, in 1966, where they raised their family. After retiring from American Airlines, Don became a land developer in the Owasso area where he and his partner were responsible for developing and establishing some of the prominent neighborhoods. He and Kenna spent over 30 years travelling the country in their RV making memories and great friends. Along with travelling, some of his favorite pastimes included playing golf, playing pool at the Owasso Senior Center, and spending as much time as possible outside in his garden. His most cherished moments by far were spent surrounded by his family, helping them with anything and everything. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2016, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso. Serving as casket bearers will be Kenneth Webb, Chris Webb, Nick Wylie, Mike Webb, and Jim Webb. A private family committal service will be held at a later date at Fairview Cemetery in Owasso. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Don's memory to Clarehouse, 7617 South Mingo Road, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74133.
