Gladys Faye Hefta

Gladys “Gabby” Faye Hefta was born on April 26, 1943, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Lee Osborne Lang and Maudie Gladys Engles. She passed from this life on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at her home in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years. Gabby was raised and educated in Tulsa and graduated with the East Central High School Class of 1961. She went on to attend classes at Connors State College in Warner, Oklahoma. Gabby spent most of her working life as a wire fabricator for multiple companies such as NASA, Burtek, McDonnell Douglas and L3 Communications. She was married on February 14, 1980, at her mother’s house in Owasso to Loren Henry Hefta. In her spare time, Gabby enjoyed a variety of past times such as going to Branson with her sisters and family, and spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies and great grandbabies. She is survived by: Her Loving Husband; Loren Hefta Children; Kimberly Dawn Schulte James Earl Hastings, Jr. and wife Melody Kristy Pauline Hastings Kasey Rae Gatton and husband Daniel Grandchildren; Ashley McCool and husband Victor Krystal Akers and husband Luke Alexander Gatton and wife Desiree Victoria Reimer and husband Russell Kyla Hastings William “AJ” Schulte Stephanie Gatton Maddison Pearson Great Grandchildren; Winter Hastings, Rain Hastings, Lakota Hastings, Adalynd Hastings, Killian “Bubba” Hastings, Bear Hastings-Akers, Maeve McCool, Olive Gatton, Harrison Reimer, Baby Boy Reimer. Siblings; Glen Lang and wife Sharon Shirley Cummisky and husband Arthur Billy Lang and wife Judy Sister in Laws Carolyn and Marilyn Lang. And numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Maudie Lang, siblings, Charlie Lang, Bud Lang, Delano Lang, and Betty West, son-in-law, Allen Schulte, grandchildren, Greyson Schulte, Spirit Hastings, and Riley Hastings-Akers, and her in laws, Joseph and Viola Hefta. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Mowery Funeral Service. Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chaple in Owasso.
