Haylia Sue Morris

Haylia Sue Morris was born on August 23, 1999, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Richard “Rick” Kay Morris and Tina Lynn (Parker) Evans. She passed from this life on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at the age of 26 years. Haylia was raised and educated in the Tulsa area and graduated as Valedictorian with the Sperry High School Class of 2018. She then went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Oklahoma where she graduated with honors. Haylia excelled in her education and strove for continual perfection. She was well studied and loved to read. Haylia spent most of her working life as an auditor for the Federal Government. Recently changing jobs to work for the Chickasaw Nation as a systems analyst. She enjoyed her work and as she lived her life, strove to excel. She was a longtime member of Rejoice Church in Owasso throughout her youth. In her spare time, Haylia enjoyed a variety of past times such as growing plants and considered herself a “plant mom,” DIY projects, reading, painting, and baking, loving animals of every type, playing with her nieces and nephews, learning to play the piano, beating her PaPa Billy at chicken foot, going camping and hiking, and playing games with her brothers. She is survived by: Her Husband; Andrew Waterman Father; Richard Kay Morris and wife Tammy Mother; Tina Evans and husband Rich Brothers; Brad Williams and wife Julia Aaron Morris and wife Georgia Jacob Morris Brian Morris and wife Trisha Dusten Carter Morris Step Sisters; Ashley Tyler Briana Hardy and husband Homer Kacy Bunch Step Brother; Kyle Evans Step Grandmother; Shera Parker Step Grandfather; Leroy Tenpenny Mother-In-law Heather Reed and Husband Tyler Reed Father-In-Law Kevin Waterman and Wife Sarah Waterman Sisters-In-Law Chesley Temple and Husband Ryan Temple Riley Reed Kate Waterman Brother-In-Law Racen Reed Numerous Nieces, Nephews that she loved dearly and who will miss her. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bill “PaPa Billy” Parker, Grandparents, Byron and Virginia Morris. She was a shining light in our lives and she will be missed.
