Jenna Brooke Hilbert

Jenna Brooke Hilbert was born August 19, 1955, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, to Elmer Lloyd Mayfield and Shirley Marie Bohon Mayfield. She died Thursday, July 9, 2026, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 70 years. Jenna completed her secondary education in Shidler, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Shidler High School Class of 1973. She was married December 20, 1993, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, to Bryan Hilbert. Throughout her working life she worked as a seamstress, owned and operated a home daycare, and served as a school nurse. Jenna also worked with the Cleveland Area Hospital as an x-ray technician and phlebotomist. In 2015, Jenna earned her associate’s degree in psychology from Tulsa Community College. However, for Jenna her most important job was as a wife, mother of five, and homemaker. Jenna’s faith in Jesus Christ was prized above all else. She loved the Lord with her whole heart and desired others to know Him as well. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Owasso. She made it a special point in her life to teach her children to memorize Psalm 23. She enjoyed a wide variety of pastimes including reading, quilting, playing board games, as well as baking and cooking for her family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling, exploring the mountains and going on walks. Family was very important to Jenna, and she dearly loved her husband and children, and was especially fond of her role as “Nana” to her grandchildren. Those she leaves behind who hold a lifetime of cherished memories include: Husband; Bryan Hilbert Children; Chelsea Davies and husband Peter Dallas Hilbert and wife Shawna Brandon Kester April Brown and husband Joe Mandy Boatman and husband Eric Grandchildren; Hadassah Brooke, Peter William, and Eliyah Joy Carson Keith, Aspen Chantelle, Ayla Grace Ryley Brock William Shane, Brooklyn Paige, Keegan Joseph Brittany Nicole, and Cody Richard Great grandchildren; Baylor, Bryar, and Coy Kerns Siblings; Mona Mayo, Rose Rhodes, and Kathy Meade She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Shirley Mayfield, and siblings, Jenny Voss, Martha Mayfield, Karen Weldon, and Jimmy Mayfield. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Bethel Baptist Church in Owasso with Pastor Bill Ascol officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Owasso. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Jenna’s memory to Bethel Baptist Church- Missions Fund, 10705 E. 86th St. N., Owasso, OK 74055.
