Patrick Dale Green

Patrick Dale Green was born on April 15, 1957, in Wellington, Kansas to Glenn Samuel Green and Verla Glee (Brand) Green. He passed from this life on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years. Patrick was raised and educated in Owasso, Oklahoma and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1975. He later went on to earn an associate’s degree in computer science from Tulsa Junior College in Tulsa, Oklahoma and a bachelors degree in marketing from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Patrick spent most of his working life as a Systems Analyst Manager for IBM, starting in 1983 and stayed with them until he retired in 2016. Over his 33 year career, he worked as a computer programmer and later became a manager and managed teams for IBM all across the United States and even managed a team over seas in India. In his spare time, Patrick enjoyed reading, going to concerts, watching movies, and watching the Kansas City Chiefs. Family was most important to Patrick, and he loved spending time with them and especially his grandchildren. Even while working outside of Oklahoma, he made sure to fly back to Tulsa every weekend so that he never missed a game or event of theirs whether it was soccer, band, color guard, or volleyball. Patrick also enjoyed spending time with and spoiling his nieces and nephews. Patrick loved to make everyone feel special and he loved to give. One of his favorite things wasn’t the gift of an actual gift, but instead the gift of an experience. He would take the whole family on new adventures together so they could hang on to those special memories. Those he is survived by include: 2 Daughters; Anna Lampkin Dawn McLerran and husband Daniel 5 Grandchildren; Brittany McLerran Ashton Batey and husband Dakota Alexander McLerran and wife Lindsey Avery Lampkin Aiden Lampkin Great Grandson; Bryar Batey Siblings; Michael Green and wife Stella Cynthia Torres Mark Green Chares Green and wife Debbie Janet Green Joseph Green and wife Becky Paul Green and wife Amy He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Verla Green, maternal grandparents, William and Leona Brand, paternal grandparents, Charles and Lelia Green, and his son, Scott Lampkin. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 27, 2023, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Mike Brown officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Patrick’s memory to Porta Caeli House, 2440 N. Harvard Ave, Tulsa, OK 74115. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso.
