Ray Bruster

'Audry Ray (Buddy) Bruster was born September 25, 1935, in Madill, Oklahoma, to Lonnie Floyd and Ada Bell (Robinson) Bruster. He died Sunday, October 4, 2015, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, at the age of 80 years. Ray completed his secondary education at Chattanooga, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Chattanooga High School Class of 1955. He was a veteran of the armed forces having served his country honorably with the United States Army and excelled as a sharpshooter. He was married September 22, 1962, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Sharlene McCauley. He spent much of his working life as a computer operator with Public Service Company of Oklahoma. Ray enjoyed a variety of pastimes, including hunting and fishing. He also continued his expertise as a sharpshooter. He was an all-around handyman and was able to fix most anything. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2015, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2015, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Father John Grant and family friend, Max Taldo officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso.
