'OBITUARY FOR REBA BOBBITT Reba Fern Bobbit passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 86 years from congestive heart failure. She was born November 20, 1929, in Hartford, Arkansas, to Della Mae and William Lester Newman. She married W. Bryan Bobbitt on May 28, 1949, in Waldron, Arkansas. They were married 55 years. Reba was a homemaker and cooked in schools for over 25 years. She later worked on an assembly line with Lowrance Electronics where she retired in 1987. Reba enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting, fishing, and spoiling her grandchildren. Reba was a longtime faithful member of Sheridan Road Baptist Church in Tulsa. Loving family members include:Two daughters; Pamela Ramirez and husband Rudy, of San Antonio, Texas Paula Chronister, of Owasso, OKFour grandchildren; Bryan Ramirez, of Austin, Texas Amanda Garcia and husband Cesar, of San Antonio, Texas Diana Early and husband Caynen, of Tulsa, OK Lisa Adams and husband Rob, of Owasso, OKThree great grandchildren; Atticus Garcia, Preston Adams, and Carson AdamsSister; Willa Mae Sharp, of Carson, CaliforniaShe was preceded in death by her husband Bryan, her parents, and three brothers, Earl, Cecil, and JB Newman.The family would like to thank the staffs at the Sterling House Assisted Living in Owasso, Oklahoma, The Laurels in Stone Oak Assisted Living facility, Optum Hospice Care, and Caring Companions all of San Antonio, Texas. And a very special thanks to Mom's angel in scrubs, Lana Sears, of Claremore, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Dr. Loran McAlister officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Bryan Ramirez, Cesar Garcia, Caynen Early, Ray Chronister, Jim Newman, and Bill Newman. Committal services and interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Optum Hospice, 5859 Farina Drive, Suite 150, San Antonio, Texas, 78249-3455.
