Rosa Lee Criswell

' Rosa Lee Criswell, resident of Collinsville, passed from this life to her heavenly home on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the Claremore Nursing Center, Claremore, OK. She was 84 years of age. Rosa was born September 30, 1930 at Willow, Arkansas to Bufford and Addie (Fleming) Robbins. She was raised and received her education in Arkansas, graduating from high school in Sparkman, AR in 1948. On October 26, 1955, she and Jesse Criswell, Jr were united in marriage in Greenville, Mississippi. To this union, three children were born. They made their home in Little Rock, AR before moving to Covington, KY. In 1962, they moved to Tulsa. They later moved to Collinsville in 1979, leaving for a short time, then returning in 1991. Both times they were able to purchase the same home. Rosa was a member of the Maranatha Baptist Temple and enjoyed cooking and gardening. While living in Tulsa, she was a member of a bowling league. Those that survive and hold cherished memories include her husband Ã¢â‚¬â€œ Jesse; children Ã¢â‚¬â€œ Michael Criswell and wife Nancy of Plano, TX, Terry Criswell and wife Anita of Lawson, MO and Susan and husband John D. Ecker, JR of Tulsa, OK. Also surviving are grandchildren Kristina Bego, Jennifer Pierre-Louis, Katie Criswell and Anthony Criswell; great grandchildren Shelbi Bego, Sydney Bego, Madison Criswell and Coen Pierre-Louis; siblings Ã¢â‚¬â€œ Bill Robbins and wife Mary of Malvern, AR, Melba Bussell of Little Rock, AR, Joye Holman of Arkadelphia, AR, Barbara Stewart and husband Alfred of Sparkman, AR and Ronnie Robbins and wife Maybelle also of Sparkman; as well as nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Rosa was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Lew and Donald Robbins a sister Charlene Copeland and sister Martha Nell Robbins, who died in infancy. Funeral services for Rosa will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in the sanctuary of the Maranatha Baptist Temple, Collinsville with Pastor Don Moseby officiating. Visitation will be Monday evening at Mowery Funeral Service from 4pm Ã¢â‚¬â€œ 8pm. She will be laid to rest in the Ridgelawn Cemetery, Collinsville. The family has requested that contributions in Rosa's memory be made to the Maranatha Baptist Temple, 12602 N. Memorial Drive, Collinsville, OK 74021 in lieu of flowers.
