Sarah Ann Jacobs

Sarah Ann Jacobs, mom, daughter, loved one. Sarah peacefully passed June 22, 2025. Born in Tulsa Oklahoma on January 29,1991. Sarah lived a life marked by love, resilience and compassion. Sarah was a devoted mother to her daughter, Emma Jacobs, and did whatever it took to give the best to her. Her spirit lives on in her loving parents, David Lichtenwalter and Kathy Verbanic; her step mother, Maureen Lichtenwalter; her brothers, David and his wife Dana Lichtenwalter, and Daniel Magnus; her sister, Nicole and her husband Jayme Noelke; and six nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Evelyn Kobets, her grandfather Col. Leon “Bud” Lichtenwalter, and her grandmother Winifred “Winnie” Lichtenwalter. Known for her kind heart and loving spirit, Sarah spent many years working in the restaurant service industry. At the time of her passing, she was pursuing her heart to help people by becoming a nurse through Tulsa Technology Center, a reflection of her deep desire to care for and help others. Sarah loved others as largely as she could, always giving and finding ways she can provide for others. Sarah loved nothing more than spending time with her daughter and her sweet cat Neko. She had a great sense of humor and a knack for making others laugh, especially when she needed help with driving directions around Tulsa. Sarah loved spending time with friends and family, Sarah was the loved one you could always count on, her selfless spirit was always shown to anyone that had the delight of knowing her. Sarah was always such a light in everyone's life. Knowing her was to love her. Sarah's life was so filled with love, compassion and kindness for others. Her passion for others is something that will forever be cherished and live on through us all. She took an active role in the lives of her family members by projecting her love onto others, always sharing advice on life, and caring for friends and family. She loved to spend afternoons with Neko, her mom and daughter watching a movie or eating ice cream on the couch. Sarah was loved by everyone she met, and she gave everything she could to anyone she could. Her kindness will live through us all. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. A memorial service will be held at Mowery Funeral Service Chapel, Monday, June 30, 2025 at 1pm at 9110 N Garnett Road Owasso OK.
