Janice Epperly

March 27, 1939 - April 10, 2022

Janice Epperly was born March 27, 1939, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to King Emil Crumpton and Pauline (Smith) Crumpton. She died on Sunday, April 10, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 83 years. She was raised and educated in Tulsa and graduated with the Will Rogers High School Class of 1957. Janice went on to study at Oklahoma State University and the University of Tulsa, where she was a member of the Kappa Delta sorority. She spent most of her working life as mortgage broker with Sooner Federal Credit Union in Tulsa until it was bought out by Bank of Oklahoma, where she retired after of 30 years. Janice was married on February 26, 1994, in Tulsa to Robert James Epperly. She was a charter member of Forest Park Christian Church in Tulsa but had most recently been attending Asbury Methodist Church. Janice enjoyed a variety of past times such as quilting, crafting, needle point, and knitting. Those she leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include: Her husband; Robert Epperly 3 Children; Brenda Johnson and husband Robert Robyn Johnson Karen Fegley and husband Robert 3 Stepchildren; Robert Epperly and wife Mary Scott Epperly and wife Kim Tammy Autry and husband Todd 8 Grandchildren; Jessica, Mollie, Grady, Arsene, Taylar, Jacob, Caleb, and Kaeleigh 4 Great Grandchildren; Rho, Cora, Lincoln, and Maddox Siblings; Jayne Wolfe and husband Bob Rex Crumpton and wife Dana She was preceded in death by her parents, King and Pauline. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at The Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel in Tulsa with Pastor Dick Reed officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Janice’s memory to Asbury Theological Seminary c/o Asbury Church, 6767 S. Mingo Rd., Tulsa, OK 74133.
