William Frank "Bud" Epler

January 9, 1932 - July 3, 2021

William F. “Bud” Epler was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as a third generation Tulsan on January 9, 1932, to parents W.J. “Bill” and Marie M. Epler. He graduated with the Holy Family High School Class of 1950. He spent two years serving in the United States Army stationed in Salzburg, Austria, for 15 months. In 1958 he graduated the University of Tulsa with his bachelors degree in marketing and management. He spent 30 years in sales, spending the last 23 years in industrial sales with Crown Products, Inc., retiring in 1991. He has served as a volunteer with several organizations including the Salvation Army. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, traveling, but most importantly his family and friends. Loving family members include: His wife of over 51 years; Inez, of the home Two daughters; Jean Ann Acree and husband Ron, of Claremore, OK Jo Lynn Joines and husband Don, of Owasso, OK Grandchildren; Philip Acree and wife Callie, Kendal Freistedt and husband Sam, Lisa Smith and husband Zack, James Bradley and wife Mackenzie, Tyler Joines and wife Richmond, Phillip Joines and wife Sierra, Christopher Joines and wife Hanna, and Nicholas Joines Great grandchildren; Ethan, Noah, Carter, Kavan, Anna, Lincoln, Atalie, Emery, Owen, Sawyer, Jadyn, Emberlyn, Hendrick, Addisyn, Harlow, and Gatlin. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 9, 2021, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Ron Acree officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at the Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, Oklahoma. Memorial contributions can be made in Bud’s memory to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 53 Owasso, Oklahoma, 74055. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso. www.moweryfs.com
