Cheryl Bledsoe

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cheryl Bledsoe, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Cheryl was born on March 3rd, 1944, to Arvigene and Robert Flaniken. Cheryl passed away peacefully on September 27th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family, from pancreatic cancer. Cheryl married Robert Walker, and together they had two children, Staci Walker Bose and Robert Walker. She was born in California but spent most of her later years in Sulphur, Oklahoma. In 2019, she moved to Owasso, Oklahoma, along with her daughter Staci, to be closer to her son Rob, grandson Korben, and Rob's extended family with Sharon. Cheryl’s love for her family was boundless, and she cherished every moment spent with them. As the oldest sister, Cheryl was not only a big sister but also like a mother to her siblings, Steve, Kenny, and Cathi. Some of her happiest memories were the joyful times running a restaurant with her brother Kenny and sister Cathi, as well playing cards with her siblings and the fun-filled trips to Vegas with her family. Her quick wit and humorous sayings brought laughter and warmth to all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Robert Walker and his wife Sharon; daughter Staci Bose; her granddaughter Morgan Wible and her spouse Thomas; her grandsons Hayden Bose and Korben Walker; and her great-granddaughter Emerson. She is also survived by her siblings, Steve Flaniken and his wife Jan, Kenny Flaniken and his wife Jana, and sister Cathi Flaniken and Al Mamaghani, as well as many nieces and nephews. Her legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Clarehouse in Tulsa. They were amazing with their care of Cheryl to the end. Clarehouse provides a unique, person-centered end-of-life care in a family home environment. They have been serving the Tulsa community for over 20yrs, offering their services free of charge thanks to the generosity of donors. Their mission is the ensure that no one walks their final days alone, providing comfort and support to both the individuals and their families.
