Gemma Teresa Overstreet

Gemma Teresa Overstreet was born August 24, 1964, to Karl Kier and Virginia Roldan Hassamal Kier. She went to meet the Lord on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 61 years. Gemma completed her secondary education in Oahu, Hawaii, and was a graduate of Moanalua High School. She continued her education earning her associates degree. Gemma was married June 1, 1996, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Kyle Overstreet. She spent the first 20 years of her working life as a medical administrator. She then worked as a real estate associate with Keller Williams Premier. Gemma was a strong woman of faith and attended LifeChurch in Catoosa, Oklahoma. She loved going to church and being surrounded by her church family who were a source of encouragement and strength. She enjoyed an expanded genre of music and going to concerts. She also liked to spend her time watching movies and going shopping. Most of all, Gemma dearly loved her family and friends, but especially the grandchildren who affectionately knew her as “Nana”. Those she leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include: Her loving husband; Kyle, of the home Children; Ashley Thompson and husband Patrick, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma Alyssa Casey and husband Ben, of Tulsa, Oklahoma Kaitlin Overstreet and Kara Overstreet, of Owasso, Oklahoma Grandchildren; Asia, Brooke, Ayla, Patrick Jr., Oriona, Roman, and Barrett Brothers; Rudy Abalos and wife Marizel, of San Francisco, California Andrew Abalos and wife Amber, of Las Vegas, Nevada Kevin Abalos, of Las Vegas, Nevada Father; Karl Kier and wife Priscilla, of Tampa, Florida She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Abalos. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Ryan Wyckoff officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Kyle Overstreet, Tom Tomnitz, Patrick Thompson, Ben Casey, Garry Roberts, and Rocky Scavo. Committal service and interment will be held 2:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Gemma’s memory to the Alliance to Cure Cavernous Malformation at www.alliancetocure.org. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
