Timothy Lee Carson

Timothy Lee Carson was born November 29, 1963, in Van Buren, Arkansas, to Don Samuel Carson and Katherine Ann Claphan Carson. He died Sunday, January 19, 2025, in Claremore, Oklahoma, at the age of 61 years. Tim completed his secondary education in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and graduated with the East Central High School Class of 1981. It was shortly after that he served his country honorably with the United States Army. He worked various jobs throughout his life, but was most proud to work as a forklift operator with Baker Hughes. Tim enjoyed a variety of pastimes, especially racing cars and NASCAR. He enjoyed time spent outdoors hunting and fishing. As a young man he spent time as a bull rider and going to rodeos. He was an avid Oklahoma Sooner fan. Tim was considered an amateur weatherman and seemed to always know what was going to happen before it got here. He enjoyed watching television shows such as Moonshiners, Swamp People, and The Curse of Oak Island . He dearly loved his grandchildren who affectionately knew him as “Pepaw”. Those he leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include: Wife; Dorothy (Dotty) Children; Taylor James Carson Shelbie Katherine Carson John Michael Miller and wife Kari Rhea Michelle Shahan and husband Drew Grandchildren; Owen Michael Shahan Penelope Ann Rose Miller Piper Michelle Shahan Oona Leigh Lily Miller Brothers; Donnie Carson Kevin Carson and wife Connie Sister; Kristie Carson Mother; Katherine Carson He was preceded in death by his father, Don S. Carson Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January25, 2025, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Andy Henson officiating. Private family disposition will be held at a later date. A reception will be held following the service at the Hampton Inn and Suites, 9009 North 121st East Avenue, Owasso, Oklahoma, 74055.
